The Evolution of the Golden Soccer Man

I wanted my Global Soccer Collection to showcase that, in my opinion, EVERYONE IS A WINNER! Life can be very challenging for us as human beings at times and I felt that a symbol of victory and triumph was needed.

I had began the journey of the Collection on another E-commerce platform which I will not name here. I kept being faced with rejection for my designs because they said that I was representing national soccer/football teams. I assured them several times that I was not. 
Even with my company logo prominently displayed, they insisted that I was in possible violation of national soccer team trademarks, which I had checked and knew I was not.

Several of my beautiful designs, like baby birds, were denied their chance to develop and fly into the world. That brought me here, to Shopify.

So, what do I hope that we gain from this Global Soccer Collection? A bridge to each other and every nation on the face of the earth and not a wall. I see us holding hands. I see us holding each other in our hearts. I see humanity cheering and smiling. I see us enjoying one another.

Golden Soccer Man becomes our symbol of shared love, laughter, competition and fun!

Just like for me personally when designing the Collection. and faced with rejection and defeat, he emerges as our symbol of victory over the circumstances in life that could defeat us. He is our trophy of every win in our personal lives and nationally. He is the champion in all of us.

It is my sincere hope and prayer that everyone of you who purchases and wears a t-shirt, or hoodie from this Global Soccer Collection will share in the spirit from which the Golden Soccer Man was created and see and feel yourselves as "destined for this moment"!
